What it's about
Professional with a regional focus, who designs and leads country specific People Department
tasks and processes whilst ensuring compliance with all local labor laws. Tasks include:
Trains new team members
Is the first point of contact for employee related questions.
Builds the trust and independently advises and supports business and employees on all People processes
Ensures no regulatory or compliance breaches, keeping abreast of local legislation changes, proactively identifying risks and drafting proposals in a timely manner to address concerns
Manages external providers and budgets
Proposes and drafts process, policy and document upgrades, and continuously works to optimize processes and process documentation, always balancing country needs with a regional and global view
Contributes to projects, in some cases lead projects, defining project plans and ensuring smooth roll-out of new processes and procedures
Provides assistance to team members and business, taking the lead to resolve more complex people operational concerns and further escalating to Regional Head Human Resources, ensuring timely action
Supports business with personnel-related matters (e.g., employee relations cases, employment law, social security schemes, salary questions, exit processes and personnel concerns)
Handles less complex employee relation cases, escalating more complex matters to the Regional Head HR
Has a solid knowledge of country labor laws, immigration and regulations for their region
Approaches their work with a regional and global view of the company, ensuring HR processes, policies and systems are employee friendly and easy to follow
Depending on the jurisdiction, performs or assists with payroll, delivering to a high-quality standard and ensuring compliance with respective in-country laws and regulations
Ensures excellent hiring manager and candidate experiences
Manages recruitment agencies and ensures cost-effective recruitment processes
Develops interview guides and other services
Coaches and trains hiring managers
Ensures all candidate due diligence and quality controls are met and labor laws are adhered to
Has an excellent understanding of related candidate markets, laws and regulations, recruitment tools and techniques
Proposes and drafts papers to lead the implementation of targeted improvements to our recruitment experience, as well as our tools and techniques
Has a solid knowledge of their business areas and the positions recruited, as well as the HR processes and policies, and the wider company
Works in a focused manner to master the more complex elements of our compensation model
What we expect
A Bachelor's degree in a related field
People management qualification (or working towards) is preferred.
Proven experience working as an HR Generalist for 6-8 years, including hands-on experience with various selection processes, familiarity with applicant tracking systems, tech-savvy, and a high aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking.
Must be highly organized with good interpersonal skills.
