Job Summary
The HR Specialist will work with all divisions to plan, organize, communicate, and implement hospital-wide HR services, programs, and strategies. S/He will integrate various human resource concepts and best practices for the organization and is responsible for the execution and evaluation of these.
S/He will be responsible for making sure that these programs are communicated with the department leaders across the organization such as, but not limited to organizational announcements, process improvements, and employee engagement programs. Collaborates with and orients the department leaders, being the primary channel, regarding these programs to promote participation of all departments.
S/He also participates in continuous quality improvement and Hospital standards compliance and implementation activities.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of bachelor's degree in psychology or four plus years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three (3) years experience in different facets of human resource management, depending on the area of specialization; e.g., statutory benefits processing, salary analysis, labor relations, recruitment processes, organizational development, and training.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Above average computer and systems knowledge (MS Office, Paint, Photoshop, Excel, and Outlook) Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information;
- Preferred Experience:
a. Experience with incentive plans
b. Experience in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, based on feedback, stakeholder engagement, trend analysis, etc.
c. Experience in change management to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Effective English communication skills, both oral and written. Can speak the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog.
