We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven ability to manage and streamline financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Manage and oversee the accounts payable function, including processing invoices, coordinating payments, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor bills.
  • Review and approve payment batches and vendor reconciliations.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vendor accounts.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Supervise the accounts receivable function, including the generation and distribution of invoices, collection of payments, and management of customer accounts.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Implement and maintain effective credit control procedures.

General Ledger:

  • Oversee the general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial statements.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development and effective performance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address financial issues and improve processes.
  • Implement and enforce accounting policies and procedures.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and file necessary tax returns and reports.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Onsite at San Pedro Laguna
