Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to guide business decisions and ensure financial stability.

Supervision and Leadership: Manage and supervise the accounting team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance reviews.Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, interpret financial data, and recommend appropriate actions to management based on analysis results.

• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Tax Compliance: Coordinate and oversee tax filings, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.

Cash Management: Manage cash flow and cash transactions, including banking relationships and liquidity management.Systems and Processes: Implement and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.

• Financial Audits: Prepare for and coordinate financial audits, including providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

• Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification preferred.

• Experience: Several years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Knowledge: Thorough understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS), financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Leadership: Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
