The SharePoint architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the SharePoint-based knowledge management system, ensuring that it meets the customer's needs and follows the best practices and standards. The SharePoint architect also provides guidance and support to the SharePoint developers and administrators, and troubleshoots any technical issues that may arise. The SharePoint architect should have expertise in SharePoint architecture, development, and administration, as well as knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and devices.
- Qualifications for SharePoint Architect
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in SharePoint architecture, development, and administration, preferably in an enterprise environment and public sector finance domain.
Certification in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or related technologies.- Strong knowledge of SharePoint features, components, and best practices, such as site collections, content types, metadata, search, security, governance, etc.
Proficient in SharePoint development using various programming languages, web technologies, and frameworks, such as C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST, etc.
- Experience in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services and devices, such as Teams, Power Platform, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.
Experience in designing and implementing SharePoint solutions that are scalable, secure, reliable, and user-friendly.- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide guidance and support to SharePoint developers and administrators.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve any technical or functional issues that may arise in the SharePoint system.
- Knowledge of knowledge management concepts, principles, and practices, and how to apply them in SharePoint.
