Job Overview
The solution architect strengthens the design and implementation quality of IT Systems, optimizing technology infrastructure, operational efficiency, scalability, reliability, and security, ensuring seamless alignment between design and implementation and business and enterprise architecture.
You will be joining HALO Chapter under Wholesale Banking Tech
Key Responsibilities
Produce multiple concepts and prototypes to design digital products/services.
Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.
Identify, within the team, patterns of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.
Interpret data and identify possible answers. Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures and precedents.
Builds solution approaches (road maps) of Epics/ Features where multiple squads and IT assets are involved.
Build patterns by co-creating Cookbooks and train developers when applying these. Escalate deviations if necessary.
Collaborates with Product Owners and Squads to translate Epics into Features and Stories.
Gathers and analyzes requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
Organizes and facilitates discussions and proposes solutions using in-depth knowledge and experience of the business and IT environmental factors such as architecture, application landscape, infrastructure, business operations, regulations, and legislations
Supports the creation of the end-to-end test approach
Develop and maintain relevant architectural artifacts, including application architectures, data models and other relevant documentation
Key Capabilities/Experience
Combines the business and IT knowledge to slice Epics into Features.
Highlights the IT and business dependencies within a Tribe or across Tribes.
Has the end-to-end view, sees the impact and identifies needs and dependencies across Tribes or Domains.
Coaches on accurate Feature definition, estimation and creation of functional roadmaps
Creates the sequence in which order to deliver Features for complex Epics.
Supports squads during Feature delivery, guides squads to manage dependencies and helps to solve impediments.
Has the end-to-end view on integration and realization of the work (across Tribes).
Aligns with the different stakeholders across Tribes and functional borders and serves as liaison when needed.
Supports the Product Area Lead/Central Product Owner with functional and technical knowledge.
Fully understands the business domain and processes, as well as the application architecture and the dynamics (interactions with other business domains).
Acts as reference within the business domain.
Challenges and optimizes the delivery model applied by the Tribe, by bringing in new ideas to improve the Way of Working and coaching others.
Coaches continuously for improvement and stimulates squads towards maturity in collaboration and content.
Has profound knowledge of multiple (new) technologies and a holistic view on the IT landscape.
Is an outside-in thinker.
Oversees technical impact of a chosen solution.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience as an IT Professional.
At least 5 years of experience working on Solution Designing and Architecture.
Must be an effective communicator and presenter of solution architecture.
Good active listening skills
Excellent documentation skills
Good collaborator
Experience with project management and delivery
Experience with legacy and modern application architecture
Strong on tech, ability to guide and verify technical implementations
Excellent analytical skills and a clear way of translating abstract concepts into implementable solutions
Experience with creating functional roadmaps
Experience dealing with complex technical landscape and architecture
Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of guiding and mentoring project teams to achieve project objectives
