The Desktop Support team is responsible to oversee and maintain company computer hardware, business productivity tools, and user account management. Their skills are to assist in resolving customer's technical concerning on user computer computers. A Desktop Support team also extending assistant when required to internal products, network infrastructure, also on IT security by diagnosing and troubleshooting common problems. Employee holding this job title generally begin in IT Admin roles.
Roles And Responsibilities:
Responding to client support requests
Install and configure computer systems and applications
Attend in-person directly to client workstation or connecting via remote tools to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems
Creating Domain User Account and O365 services assignment
Troubleshoot related to Office 365 services
Maintain computer and license assets inventory data accuracy
Take ownership of assigned responsibilities
Must be able to compose very clear report to site supervisor on critical issues
Qualifications (required):
Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals
Familiar with Microsoft 365 features
Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems
Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications (preferred):
Experience in handling Active Directory azure or on-premises configuration related to features Group Policies, Software push, Windows 10 updates, User Access Management, etc.
Administer and support an enterprise-level of functionality in Office 365 services like MS Teams, Intune, One Drive, Exchange, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Azure Active Directory
Azure Fundamental and Microsoft 365 Certified is a plus
