Job Summary:Calamba Medical Center is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support the medical center's goals. This role demands a high level of expertise in financial management, leadership, and strategic planning.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes, providing forecasts and strategic recommendations.
Manage the finance team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, supporting decision-making processes.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational goals and objectives.
Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
