Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with organizational skills. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for accurately recording financial transactions, maintaining financial records, and performing various accounting tasks to support our business operations.

  • Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare and file tax forms, including sales tax returns and payroll tax filings.
Provide support during audits and financial inspections.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.

  • Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Xero.
Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work on-site.
Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis techniques and reporting.
Experience with inventory management and cost accounting.
