JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of inventory and processes within the warehouse. This role involves conducting regular audits of inventory, processes, and documentation to identify discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Warehouse Auditor plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of warehouse operations by identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct regular audits of inventory to verify the accuracy of stock levels, item conditions, and storage practices.
Monitor warehouse processes, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping, to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures.
Investigate discrepancies in inventory counts, shipment errors, and other inconsistencies, and report findings to management.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to correct identified issues and implement preventive measures.
Participate in cycle counting and annual physical inventory processes.
Recommend improvements to warehouse processes, systems, and documentation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or auditing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
