About the Role_We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address defects, ensuring a seamless user experience._
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner
Conduct regression testing and performance testing to validate software functionality
Work closely with developers to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage
Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software QA
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Familiarity with automated testing tools (optional, but preferred)
Foundational knowledge in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
Experience working in agile/scrum development process
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Note: The use of automated testing tools is optional but preferred. Candidates with experience in automated testing will be given preference, but it is not a strict requirement for the role.
