JOB SUMMARY
Overview:
The Software Engineer is a hybrid role that integrates the functions of our technical team. This position is tasked with analyzing and enhancing business processes through advanced automation, developing and implementing robust technical solutions, and maintaining integrations across a diverse array of platforms such as Google Workspace, Wix, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Discord, and Power BI. Additionally, this role includes the development of mobile apps and web applications using modern technologies.
Role Responsibilities:
Analysis and Process Optimization:
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments with stakeholders to determine functional and technical requirements.
- Optimize workflows and data flows across various platforms to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Development and Implementation:
- Design, code, and deploy automation scripts and applications using programming languages such as JavaScript (Google Apps Script) and Python.
- Build and manage API integrations between different systems to ensure seamless data exchange and system functionality.
- Develop custom solutions in Google Sheets using advanced formulas and Google Apps Script to automate data updates across multiple sheets.
- Design and develop mobile applications using Flutter and web applications using React, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Implement robust backend solutions using PHP and other relevant technologies to support mobile and web applications.
System Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement of automation systems.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting for automation-related issues as well as mobile and web applications.
- Train users on new and existing automation tools, ensuring optimal usage and understanding.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Create comprehensive documentation for all developed automations, integrations, and applications.
- Ensure systems comply with data protection regulations and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages, particularly for automation tasks, and in developing mobile and web applications.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to manage projects that enhance business processes.
- Extensive experience with Google Workspace, Wix, various LMS platforms, Discord, and Power BI.
- Proficient in mobile app development with Flutter and web development with React and PHP.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication skills for liaising between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with LMS such as Moodle and cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform & AWS.
