As a Senior Accountant, you'll take on crucial responsibilities including preparing financial statements, researching tax issues, and managing ASIC company documents. You'll engage directly with clients to provide top-notch service, build strong relationships, and ensure timely, efficient, and accurate outcomes. Shift: Day Shift, Mon - Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Work Setup: Work from Home or Onsite (Ortigas, Pampanga, Cebu)

Crunching Numbers with Precision

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns
  
• Maintain complete, accurate workpapers and daily timesheets
  
• Conduct tax research and apply insights to client scenarios
  
• Review ASIC company annual statements and related documents
  
• Prepare BAS / IAS and review PAYG installments
  
• Identify and resolve client business and tax issues, provide advice, and engage with clients directly
  
• Liaise with the ATO and ASIC regarding client matters
  
• Cultivate client relationships through ongoing communication and support
  
• Stay updated with industry changes through regular training
  
• Complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  
• Participate in other duties as directed by Directors and Managers
  

Requirements

Qualifications Needed: Accounting Savvy Meets Client-Driven Precision

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting or an accounting-related degree in Business/Commerce or a similar field
  
• Actively pursuing or planning to pursue CA/CPA qualification
  

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  

• Proficient understanding of income tax fundamentals
  
• Knowledge of common income tax, capital gains tax, and GST issues affecting individuals, companies, partnerships, superannuation funds, and trusts
  
• Familiarity with common FBT issues relevant to businesses
  
• Knowledge of corporate secretarial requirements for private companies
  
• Understanding of general business practices
  
• Familiarity with tax issues applicable to superannuation funds
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise client correspondence and advice
  
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and external contacts
  

• High attention to detail with strong quality assurance
  
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  

• Ability to work independently when required, managing tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines without supervision
  
• Dependable, accurate, and efficient in completing tasks
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome
