Responsibilities
- Responsible for the monthly closing, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliationswith supporting documentation and detail.
- Prepares variance explanations from budget and forecast monthly. Analyze Cost of Goods Sold statement anddetailed supporting schedules.
- Responsible for accounting for capital projects, settles and posts monthly journal entries related to fixedassets and prepares month-end schedules, including running monthly depreciation.
- Responsible for running monthly and weekly processes in SAP and resolving errors.
- Prepares quarterly and year-end audit schedules and assists and responds to audit inquires.
- Assists Operations with inventory cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, physical inventories, inventoryreserve analysis and reconciles and resolves issues as necessary.
- Assist in the overall budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepares metrics for the Operations team and implements appropriate KPIs as needed.
- Primary contact between Accounts Payable and the Business, collaborating to resolve issues. Monitor GoodsReceived/Invoice Received for potential problems.
- Maintains and reconciles Petty Cash
- Perform ad-hoc projects as needed as well as drive process improvement initiatives.
- Establishes cross-functional relationships while driving process efficiencies and conflict solutions.
- Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employmentagreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Accounting
- With a minimum of 1-4 years experience in general and cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have entry-level knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Must have excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient with Excel; experience with SAP or large ERP system preferred.
- Amenable to work in our sites in Ortigas and Cubao
- Can start ASAP
