Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of equipment and systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Operate and maintain various hand and power tools
Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues
Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and techniques
Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ordering replacements as necessary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or associate's degree preferred
3-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or related technical field
Proven experience in multiple technical disciplines (e.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations (e.g., OSHA standards)
Ability to read and understand technical documentation and blueprints
Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations
Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus
