About This Role
The Scheduling & Coordinator ensures the efficient and compliant scheduling of Patch Technicians and accurate tracking of their time and attendance. This role is essential for maintaining adequate staffing levels, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring accurate payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Creation & Maintenance:
- Collaborate with the Workforce & Production Planning Analyst to create and maintain detailed schedules for Patch Technicians.
- Utilize scheduling software to optimize shift assignments, considering individual preferences, skill levels, and workload demands.
- Ensure schedules comply with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Time & Attendance Administration
- Manage the timekeeping system, ensuring accurate and timely recording of employee hours, leaves, and absences.
- Verify time entries, investigate discrepancies, and resolve any payroll-related issues.
- Monitor attendance patterns and identify potential issues with absenteeism or tardiness.
Leave Management
- Process and track employee leave requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Communicate with employees regarding their leave balances and eligibility.
- Coordinate with the Workforce & Production Planning Analyst to ensure adequate coverage during leave periods.
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate regular reports on time and attendance data, highlighting trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and leave management.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in scheduling, time and attendance, or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and timekeeping systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus.
