Job Summary:
The HRIS Analyst IV is a senior-level role responsible for providing expert-level technical and functional support in the Workday system. This position plays a strategic role in optimizing HR processes and system capabilities. The HRIS Analyst IV leads complex configurations, oversees system enhancements, and collaborates with stakeholders to drive HR technology projects. Additionally, they mentor junior team members and act as a key point of contact for critical Workday-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Configuration and Optimization:
- Lead advanced configuration and maintenance of Workday modules (e.g., Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits).
- Perform complex data modeling and design enhancements to improve system functionality and user experience.
- Identify and implement system optimizations to meet organizational needs and streamline HR processes.
2. Project Leadership:
- Lead and execute large-scale HRIS projects, including system upgrades, module rollouts, and process automation.
- Act as a Workday subject matter expert (SME) in cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
- Manage end-to-end testing (e.g., UAT) and documentation for system changes and enhancements.
3. Data Management and Reporting:
- Oversee data integrity by conducting routine audits and developing data governance frameworks.
- Build advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR decisionmaking and provide insights to business leaders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, data privacy laws).
4. User Support and Training:
- Provide expert-level support to HRIS users, addressing complex system issues, troubleshooting errors, and escalating critical issues when needed.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for both new and existing Workday users, ensuring effective use of system features.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on Workday best practices.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment on system requirements and goals.
- Act as the point of contact for Workday's external support team and manage vendor relationships
6. Compliance and Security:
- Maintain a deep understanding of data privacy, labor laws, and regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring Workday configurations meet all standards.
- Oversee security role management and ensure appropriate access controls are in place.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in HRIS roles, including 5+ years of Workday system administration experience.
- Strong expertise in Workday configuration, reporting, and analytics (Workday certifications preferred).
- Experience leading large HR technology projects and managing system implementations.
- Proficient in HR processes, data governance, and compliance management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying system improvements.
