What is the role about
We are looking for experienced Workday Integrations Consultants with Payroll integration experience to help ensure our clients are utilizing the best possible Workday solutions.
Design, build, test, and deploy integration solutions for customers.
Provide guidance to clients or service partners on integration strategies.
Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping, and system process designs.
Develop and execute test plans, manage scenario testing and validation of file solutions.
Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions and ultimately drive requirements sign-off.
Manage the setup, analysis, validation and integration of partner data exchanges.
Support the change order process through providing estimates on effort, defining requirements, develop the solution.

As a VR consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your own day, as long as you meet your set objectives and client demands. Often your team will be a mix of on-site and remote based members who will connect using IM, video calls and an online ticketing system. Good communication skills and time management is essential for this role.
What skills are we looking for
Our roles are remotely based (even pre-Covid), meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.
To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.
Must have Skills Required
3 - 5 years experience as a Workday Integration Developer
5+ years of experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware);
Have personally built, tested, and deployed integrations
Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, PECI/CCW, and other Workday integration tools
Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, REST, and SOAP web services.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
Experience with SQL and database management.
Deep understanding of Workday HCM and business processes.
Familiarity with Workday security model and data governance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, pragmatic problem solver
Excellent planning, interpersonal and time management skills with a track record of following through on dedications
Excellent technical communication skills are essential
Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking)
Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory
College or University Degree in HR or Information Systems
Workday Integration Certification is a plus
Ideally have Workday Extend experience
Certifications in related technologies or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) are advantageous.
Experience with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, .NET, XSLT, NetBeans IDE development background
As this is a remote role, you can be based anywhere in the APAC region, so long as you are authorised to work without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
