Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Web Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating and enhancing WordPress websites.

• Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain WordPress websites based on provided mockups and design specifications.

• Develop custom code to extend functionality, integrate third-party plugins, and create bespoke solutions tailored to client needs.

Customise and develop WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance.

• Utilise Divi and Elementor to create visually appealing and highly functional websites.

Ensure all web pages are fully responsive and optimised for various devices and browsers.

• Conduct performance optimisation tasks to ensure fast loading times and optimal website performance.

Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, plugins, and integrations.

• Work closely with designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and effective project execution.

• Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in WordPress web development.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.

• Advanced knowledge of Divi and Elementor page builders.

Proven ability to translate design mockups into fully functional websites.

• Experience in custom plugin and theme development.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality and error-free websites.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic workflow.

• Ideal but not required:

* Knowledge of SEO best practices.

• Experience with website performance optimisation tools and techniques.

This is for a project based arrangement, with a potential to transition to a full-time set up. The candidate must be available to work during UK business hours (between 4 pm to 1 am Philippine Time).
