We are looking for one writer with a focus on sports and another with a focus on PH news and politics. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record of creating high-quality, SEO-optimized blog content that drives traffic and engagement to our website.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit blog posts on various topics that align with our brand and audience.

Implement SEO best practices to optimize blog content for search engines.

• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to develop content strategies that drive traffic and engagement.

Monitor and analyze blog performance, providing regular reports and insights.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and content marketing.

Manage the WordPress CMS, including uploading content, formatting posts, and ensuring the website is updated regularly.

• Engage with readers through comments and social media to build a community around our content.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in writing and optimizing blog content for WordPress.

Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve content performance.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in digital marketing or content creation for media publications.

Familiarity with other content management systems.

• Knowledge of social media marketing strategies.

Experience with keyword research tools and analytics platforms.
