Education and Experience Profile- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field is required with a bachelor's preferred
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing wireless capabilities.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience with manufacturing and warehouse networks required.
- CWS, CWT, CWNA, CCNA, JNCIS, or comparable certifications required.
- ECSE, CWDP, CCNP, JNCIP, or comparable certifications preferred.
- Experience with SOTI MobiControl or Azure Endpoint Device management is preferred.
- Proficiency with the Ekahau Site Survey tool for WLAN design and support is preferred.
- Programming Python or shell scripting is preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Design, install, and repair systems and equipment that transmit radio frequency (RF).
- Responsible for enterprise mobile device management.
- Installing and configuring wireless network devices and wireless infrastructure.
- Monitoring and maintaining wireless devices and networks.
- Conduct and document wireless surveys to effectively implement and support WLANs.
- Planning the layout coverage in manufacturing and warehouse environments, including the use of omni or directional antenna and specialized mounts.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
- Providing technical support.
- Repairing, replacing, and decommissioning equipment as necessary.
- Testing new technologies.
- Documenting and knowledge transfer.
- Other duties as assigned.
