Primary Purpose of the Position
The Hosting Services Senior Analyst is a service supporting role primarily responsible for the transitional and operational tasks and duties in support of hosting service implementations that span across a broad range of global services and solutions (Server, Storage, Linux/Windows Operating Systems, Virtualization, and Datacenter Facilities)
This position will be a member of the Global IT Infrastructure Services organization responsible for professional and technical work related to hosting services.

- Service Transition Processes: Knowledge Management, Change Management, Asset & Configuration Management, Release & Deployment, Transition Planning & Support, Service Validation & Testing, Evaluation
- Service Operation Processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Event Management, Request Fulfillment, Access Management, Operations Management
- Supports existing services and assists in deployment
- Works with/across global/regional/local IT teams by consulting with more senior level team members. Provides intermediate consultation for responsible services
- Participate as team member on medium/large projects. Provides technical leadership for small project teams
- Lead beginner to intermediate problem resolution and documentation typically impacting a functional area. Participates in troubleshooting complex problems which may span functional areas
- Plan, document, and implement system changes
- Perform reporting against their area of support
- Leverage data to identify, justify, recommend and implement system improvements, which leverage new or existing technologies
- Troubleshoot intermediate problems reported by internal customers, systems, or team members escalating to upper level associates as appropriate
- Monitor, debug, and install hosting solutions as well as related software and systems. Incumbent may be required to do intermediate configuration or system modifications
- Perform intermediate complexity service requests, installs, upgrades, refreshes, backups, restores, patching, granting access, modifying configurations, gathering KPI data using well-defined processes
Job Requirements
- Experience in Server Management, preferrably Windows. Linux is also acceptable.
- Experience in Virtualization preferrably VMWare
- Experience in Scripting preferrable PowerShell. Bash and/or Ansible are also acceptable
- Knowledge in Cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud etc.
- Knowledge in Web Server Softwares is a plus (Apache, Nginx, MS IIS)
- Knowledge in Database Management is a plus
- Ability to understand the business needs and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service to the business works to anticipate, identify and meet end-user needs drives outward results and ensures high-quality standards are met
- Can convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business actively listens to peers input
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills acts decisively and swiftly, identifies problems and drives towards solutions, takes on responsible roles and accountability for outcomes
- Amenable to work in Mid Shiftt and Hybrid set up
