Windows System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administering and maintaining Windows server environments, including Active Directory, Exchange, and other core services
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal uptime and functionality
• Performing system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to ensure security and compliance
• Providing technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving various IT-related problems
• Documenting processes and procedures to maintain knowledge and ensure consistent service delivery
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and implement new technologies
• Proactively identifying opportunities for system improvements and automation

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or in a similar role
• Proficient in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and other Microsoft technologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, scripting, and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure, AWS) is highly desirable
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), are preferred
