The Role
We're looking for skilled Windows & Linux Administrators to join our IT team. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and security of our Windows or Linux servers. You'll also work closely with other IT staff to troubleshoot issues, implement new technologies, and ensure optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows or Linux servers.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Apply security updates and patches to keep systems secure.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Document system configurations and procedures.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new applications.
- Work collaboratively with other IT staff to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience administering Windows or Linux server environments (minimum 2 years).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory (Windows) and user management.
- Experience with server virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) is a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with RHEL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
