Sets-up welding machines based standard work instructions.- Conducts daily maintenance and checking of welding machines based on checklist.
Inspects proper fitting/ bending before welding.
- Reports necessary adjustments to be made in drawings.
Ensures quality of welding portions based on welding standards. Ensures good welding penetration/ weld strength.- Follow, inspects and records all drawings requirements affected by welding.
Conducts daily updating of inventory and consumption of gases and welding consumables.
- Productively uses welding consumables.
Recommends and use proper welding jigs to increase productivity.- Completes daily workload as instructed by In-Charge/ or Leader/ or SV
Maintains a clean and organize work station.
- Keeps completely issued tools. Contributes to maintaining good housekeeping in welding area and an organize common cabinets.
Complies to all company and departmental policies and memos. Follows proper and on-time filing of leave. Observe proper wearing of uniform and PPEs & complies with 5S, safety & ISO standards.- Properly fills out Kanban or Prodn Routing Sheet. Consistently conducts proper reporting in VISION.
Attends scheduled training and other company sponsored activities.
- Immediately reports to production heads any abnormal condition.
Qualifications:
- Education: For entry level, must be graduate of any technical or engineering course or NC Certification from Technical School. Must have high numerical aptitude.
Experience: Equivalent years of experience in Sheetmetal Manufacturing, specifically with background in NC/ CNC Programing and Machining.- Can interpret drawings to identify processes, tools & equipment and materials to be used.
