JOB TITLE: WELDER - AUTOMATION INDUSTRY AND FABRICATIONWe are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in the automation industry and fabrication sector. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding techniques, particularly relevant to the demands of automation systems and fabrication processes. This role requires a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to various fieldwork environments.
- WELDING OPERATIONS: Perform welding tasks according to specifications, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
- FABRICATION SUPPORT: Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of design blueprints and specifications. Assist in the fabrication process as needed.
- QUALITY ASSURANCE: Maintain high standards of quality in welding operations, ensuring finished products meet industry standards and customer expectations. Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the welding process.
- SAFETY COMPLIANCE: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- FIELD WORK: Willingness to perform welding tasks in various fieldwork environments, including on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of automation systems and fabricated components.
- EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Report any malfunctions or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- DOCUMENTATION: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including work performed, materials used, and any relevant observations or recommendations. Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in the automation industry or related field.- Proficiency in various welding techniques.
Familiarity with fabrication processes and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork as required.
- Valid welding certifications/licenses preferred.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).- Comfort working in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
