Metacom Solutions is Urgently Hiring: Web Hosting Associate
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months in Web Hosting Associate
- At least 6 months of sales experience (in any industry)
- At least 6 months of tech experience
- Proficient in both computer and smartphone operating systems
- Familiar with hosting platforms like Linux or Windows
- Strong understanding of internet technology, including browser troubleshooting
- Skilled in common email applications, particularly Outlook
- Above-average proficiency in using web browsers
- Able to assemble a desktop computer (connect peripherals to CPU) following instructions (WAHA setup)
- Expertise in web hosting technologies, including CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla
- Familiar with website scripting languages like PHP
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL
- Knowledge of network protocols such as SSH, FTP, and SFTP
- Understanding of DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and server error resolution
- Familiar with SMTP protocols and POP/IMAP/Active Exchange differences
- Excellent computer skills, especially in CRM systems
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
