The main responsibilities of a Web Developer (UI/UX & Data Focus) include:
Website Overhaul: Lead the redesign and rebuild of our website using a modern platform (WebFlow, kentico, etc.). Prioritize intuitive navigation and a visual design that reflects our leading global brand.
Data Visualization: Integrate APIs to dynamically pull data into the website and create engaging charts/visualizations to communicate information effectively.
Dynamic Content & Script Optimization: Ensure smooth performance, implement conversion tracking, and manage scripts for optimal website efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, optimizing website architecture for performance and scalability.
Design and execute digital assets, aligning with our brand standards, to support our marketing campaigns across various digital platforms.
Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, and optimizations to improve user experience and adhere to web design best practices.
Utilize analytics tools to monitor website performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
Experience
Proven experience in web development with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating dynamic, data-driven websites.
Strong proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages for API integration.
Familiarity with database management and the ability to connect and visualize data from various sources.
Experience with digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and InVision) and an understanding of design principles to support asset creation.
Knowledge of current web development best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser and device compatibility.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
