Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst for Web and Mobile Applications will be responsible for translating business requirements into system specifications. Key responsibilities include creation of Requirements Documents, User Stories, Use Cases, Wireframes, Process Flow Diagrams, and other similar documentation. The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, users, and the technical team (Solution Architect, Developers, Testers, System Administrator, Infrastructure, Network, and IT Security) in defining the features and developing the application features.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, and other relevant fields
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Analyst/Application Design/System Analyst/Functional Analyst Roles for Web and/or Mobile Applications
- Experience in the Service Industry is preferred, especially in Utilities and Telecommunications
- Experience in Agile methodology is a plus
- Experience in creating Business Requirements Documents, User Stories, Use Cases, Wireframes, WBS, Functional Specifications Documents, Test Scripts, Process Flow Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and Training Materials
- Experience in system integration projects is preferred
- Strong business acumen, system analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- With Knowledge of basic Marketing, Sales, and After Sales (Order-to-Cash) processes
- Experience in end-to-end system/application implementation is a plus
- Experience in Project Management is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, databases, and programming is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users for requirements gathering and prioritization of application features development
- Collaborate with 3rd party and internal technical resources, such as Testers, Solution Architects, Developers, System Administrators, Infrastructure/Network/IT Security resources, and other Functional Analysts, in designing the application features and specifications
- Plan and prioritize feature developments ensuring alignment with business goals
- Oversee the tasks of developers, quality assurance testers, and users
- Manage the overall delivery of features for assigned Web and Mobile Applications
- Handle L1 Support for issues and requests, such as granting user access and extracting data
- Escalate issues to the Development team and ensure timely resolution
- Create Root Cause Analysis for major issues and recurring issues
- Create reports and presentation materials
- Lead meetings with stakeholders, users, and technical teams
