Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of checker and warehouseman in the warehouse department.
Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure timely completion of orders.- Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as warehouse, shipping, and customer service, to facilitate smooth inbound and outbound processes.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and proper packaging of orders.- Optimize operational efficiency by analyzing and improving pick and pack processes.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the fulfillment process.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain records of productivity, performance, and other relevant metrics.- Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members.
Foster a positive team culture, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Proven experience inbound outbound processes with at least 2-3 years in a leadership/supervisory position.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a warehouse environment.- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle any issues or challenges that may arise.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects as required.
