Growsari is helping to build the future of Sari Sari stores in the Philippines. Sari Sari stores are the largest retail channel and source of employment in the country, yet the average store owner barely makes her ends meet. We use technology to help them increase their earnings through four ways:
- Get cheaper sourcing of products by connecting them directly to companies (getting them access to better pricing and free delivery to their stores)
Access new types of products to sell within their store (higher earning revenue streams such as bayad centers, e-commerce drop off points, wi-fi hotspots, store branding etc)- Access to financial services (give them access to working capital, consignment and other types of financial services that could help them grow, but they are currently excluded from)
Help them monetize their data (get companies to pay for real-time access to sales data and ability to act on it on a per-store level think the next generation of Nielsen Answers
Now we are looking for the next wave of talent to join and push this vision further. What you'll do:
The Logistics Supervisor handles the dispatch, delivery and returns processes of the warehouse. His/her main responsibility is to ensure that day to day operations are smooth and that all orders are dispatch, delivered and collected accordingly. The Logistics Supervisor manages 2 Team Leads and dozens of shippers, and reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Assists the Inventory Team Lead for timely replenishment of stocks in shelves- Ensures that all stocks available are placed in the picking shelves
Delegates and plans the PSP staff's tasks as needed in the pick pack operations.- Ensures that all orders are correctly processed and labeled
Irons out day to day fulfillment operations issues
- Manages the backend system in case of issues
Ensures proper handling of stocks during the pick pack process
Ensures the placing of orders to the right pallets, making sure that everything is ready for dispatch
Monitoring of daily schedule and attendance- Raise any misconduct for disciplinary action
Trains the PSP staff and Warehouse Staff

- Knowledge, Skills And Experience Requirements:
Tech savvy. Eager to learn new systems and apps specific to Growsari's needs
- Must possess skills in people management, team building, and communication.
Possess analytical and basic mathematical skills- Is eager to learn new skills and continuously improve oneself
Is willing to work extended hours if necessary
- Is impact-driven and want to make a positive impact to the lives of Sari Sari store owners; ultimately playing a role in bridging the income inequality gap in the Philippines
Have a problem solver attitude - and are able to get things done and meet your deliverables while keeping the bigger picture in mind
- Qualifications, Certifications And Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Industrial Engineering, or any related field- Must have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and inventory control
Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google Drive products
- Proficiency in using database applications
