JOB PURPOSEThe Warehouse Specialist for Inbound is responsible for overall operations in Inbound Section. She/He must ensure that all received merchandise and non-merchandise items are complete and timely received in the system.
Graduate of any BS course or any related business courses.
- Graduate of BS Supply Chain Management or any related business courses. With at least two (2) years of exposure in the retail industry and function-related work experience.
With knowledge of warehousing and inventory controls.- With knowledge of 5S housekeeping.
Very good analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate effectively at all levels
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience managing several tasks and priorities and exercising independent working- Very good communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to plan, direct and coordinate, monitor, and regulate processes, and execute programs, projects, and administrative activities.
Ensure timely processing of received shipments
- Ensure correct posting of received shipments and re-class journals
Ensure organized arrangement of stocks in storage- Ensure proper recording of inventory movement
Conduct weekly cycle count
- Ensure timely picking of orders
Coordinate with Outbound Supervisor for rush orders- Escalate red flag concerns if there are any
Ensure that defective items from shipments are reported w/in a month of receipt
- Monitor borrowed items thru MDR
Request for inventory adjustment to correct warehouse inventory provided that it's reasonable (prepares IR)- Analyze causes of inventory variances
Prepare shipment reports
- Ensure proper handling of items
Prepare samples of new SKUs from shipment Prepare and post item re-class journal
- Recommends process improvement for faster & more reliable warehouse operational procedure.
