Job Description

Position Overview:

The warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse including receiving, storing, and distributing products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse activities. The supervisor will manage a team of warehouse workers, ensuring their adherence to safety guidelines and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.

  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse operational procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory checks.

  • Train and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring their compliance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with other departments to effectively manage inventory levels and resolve any inventory discrepancies.

  • Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate measures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of warehouse staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.

  • Ensure proper maintenance and organization of the warehouse, including the arrangement of products and equipment.

  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of products.

    Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and order fulfillment processes.

  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant computer applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with warehouse staff and other departments.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.

  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month

    Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Flextime
Supplemental Pay:
  • 13th month salary


Ability to commute/relocate:
Davao City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
