Warehouse Staff

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Stores raw materials and supplies following the FIFO system and food safety standards concerning shelf life and proper storage.

• Counts and records stock items during receiving, picking and releasing; assists in periodic cycle counts and during month-end inventory.

Operates the forklift, jack lift and weighing scale and maintain the cleanliness of the equipment.

• Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to preserve the integrity and utility value of all materials, ingredients and supplies.

Inspects dry ingredients, materials and supplies before releasing to production to ensure ingredients are within the specified shelf life, at the optimum quality required, and conforms to food safety standards.

• Picks and prepares materials and supplies specified to the production release form.

Accomplishes monitoring forms to record results of activities to ease traceability exercises.

• Prepares the mis en place of raw materials, removing the secondary packaging and disposal of cardboard boxes.

Reports to superiors concern such as inaccurate weight and measures resulting from faulty weighing equipment, ingredients stock out, non-moving materials nearing expiration, defective materials and questionable conditions for proper resolution and immediate action.

• Reports food safety incidences to superiors to intervene against actual or suspected threats and protect consumer's interest and business integrity.

Performs other job related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

• QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must possess at least High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Others or equivalent

• Preferably with at least 1 year experience specialized in the related position
