The Warehouse Personnel is responsible for overseeing and executing various tasks related to the efficient operation of the warehouse. He will play a crucial role in managing the inventory system, processing of orders and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
Organize and maintain enough inventory within the warehouse.- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Order Processing:
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
Verify accuracy of picked orders and ensure these are properly staged for shipping.
- Warehouse Organization:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
Monitor and replenish packing materials, such as boxes, tape and labels.- Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor regarding inventory status, order processing and any issues/concerns.
Collaborate with other departments regarding shipping and receiving, coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications:
- At least with High school Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred (1-2 years)- Strong attention to details and accuracy in performing tasks
Ability to lift heavy objects and can work in a physically demanding environment
- Good communication skills and can work with a team
Knowledge in safety procedures and regulations related to warehouse operations- With basic computer skills for order processing and knowledgeable in inventory management software
Willingness to work flexible hours and render overtime as needed.
