JOB TITLE: Warehouse Painter

- JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Painter to join our team. The Warehouse Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to various warehouse structures and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with different painting techniques and materials, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
- Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Repair and patch surfaces as necessary.
- Apply primers, sealers, and topcoats to various surfaces including walls, floors, ceilings, and warehouse equipment.
- Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply paints and coatings.
- Mix paints and other materials to achieve the desired color and consistency.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
- Inspect surfaces after painting to ensure even application and quality finish.
- Touch up areas as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and equipment.
- Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a painter, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
