Responsibilities:- Team Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff. Schedule shifts and delegate tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
Inventory Control:
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping.Receiving and Shipping:
Oversee and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Ensure shipments are processed accurately and timely.Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure warehouse equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition.Reporting:
Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics. Report any discrepancies or issues to management. Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.- Skilled in inventory planning and control, process re-engineering, overall warehouse management and logistics operations
Must have working knowledge of Quick Books or other warehouse software packages and MS Office.
- With strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
