Duties & Responsibilities:- Overseeing top daily operations of the department.
- Keeping track of each department's key performance indicators and achieve the target.
- Initiating creation and implementation of improvement plans and programs of the department that are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Assisting the top management in the execution of plans to achieve goals and objectives.
- Managing all the staff in carrying out business operations, motivating and disciplining staff.
- Creation and implementing operational policies and procedures, work instruction of the department.
- Reviewing and signing of purchase requests and attachments for raw and packaging materials prepared by the planner.
- Reviewing weekly inventory report done by Warehouse Coordinator.
- Approve materials variances for accounting adjustment in SAP.
- Approving purchase requests of supplies, equipment and other repairs of the department.
- Approving of the forms like, Leave Form, Work Instruction and others.
- Approving of additional manpower requests necessary to conduct the operations due to bulk processing of orders.
- Approving of necessary trainings for the development of the staff.
- Collaborating with other departments to deal with issues and achieve objectives.
- Managing materials of all business units to serve customers needs.
- Provide inventory analysis using actual and replacement cost to the management and sales, in collaboration with the importation.
- Controlling the purchase of materials by filtering purchase requests and assessing risks.
- Monitoring the inventory of the corporate group to avoid overstocking.
- Discussing with the team the necessary actions needed for managing obsolete stocks.
- Creation of departmental budget.
- Collaborating with supervisors of each section about issues and improvements.
- Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous.
- Visiting every warehouse location to ensure application of good warehousing standards and practices.
- Visiting dispensary locations to ensure application of good standards and practices.
- Creating new material codes in the (SAP) system based on R&D request.
- Making big decisions about issues and improvements of the department.
- Attending the Management Committee Meetings as needed.
- Attending the Weekly Alignment Meeting.
- Attending to abrupt meetings to deal with issues of the organization.
- Collaborating with other departments to deal with issues and achieve objectives.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduate of any four-year science related course.
- Years of Related Work Experience: With at least 5 years work experience as manager in the warehouse, supply chain or manufacturing.
- Job Skills/Competencies Required:
Must be hardworking, analytical, resourceful, honest, trustworthy and responsible.
Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power point)
Detailed oriented and with extreme accuracy.
Must be proactive and with strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in, and use of, the validated SAP system.
Spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities.
Critical-thinking and strategical management, risk-assessment analysis.
