KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for ensuring that all valid orders are served correctly, complete in quantity, with right quality and at the right time.
Leads the Warehouse Team to be more performance driven; adheres and promotes the departments KRA/KPI and the company policy
Avoid out-of-stock (OOS) situation by ensuring:
- Warehouse has sufficient stocks to cover all possible orders at any given time.
- Stock level is enough to address any fluctuation of demand and all possible uncertainties brought by port congestion and weather disturbance.
- Critical stocks are coordinated properly and on-time to Demand Resource Planning (DRP).
- First-expiry, first-out are properly executed.
Manage inventory by:
- Ensuring only saleable items are stored in invoiceable locations.
- Ensuring processes for receiving and issuance of goods are strictly being followed.
- Conducting daily cycle count.
- Adherence to warehouse lay-out (zoning).
- Conducting monthly physical count.
- Ensuring proper control at receiving.
- Strictly implementing no-valid-document, no picking policy, no issuance.
- Restricting warehouse area from non-warehouse personnel.
- Coordinating closely with Security Group in ensuring 100% frisking of all warehouse employees going out of the warehouse.
Manage ageing of stocks:
- Ensure execution of FEFO / FIFO on every stock issuance.
- Coordinate and push with Marketing all stocks with twelve (12) months shelf-life and below.
- There must be no stocks that will expire inside the warehouse.
Manage trade returns by:
- Receiving all trade returns.
- Sorting and classifying condition of trade returns; ensure all trade returns that are recoverable will be reworked / reprocessed for re-issuance as good stocks to trade.
- Stocks classified as for employee sale or for sampling are properly stored inside the warehouse.
- Bad stocks must be disposed-off every month.
- Manage rejected-upon-delivery (RUD) stocks
- Ensure immediate posting of good stocks back into SAP.
Manage shrink-packing/repackaging section:
- Ensure productivity based on set standard output
- Ensure all material handling equipment is utilized based on standards and capacity
- Coordinate with Motorpool and execute necessary preventive maintenance schedules on all forklift and jacklift
Manage operational costs:
- Control overtime and ensure manpower is utilized to its optimal limit
- Employ cost saving measures at all times
- Employ and promote good warehousing practices
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management or with equivalent Warehouse Management work experience
- At least five(5) years experience working in a warehouse and 2 years of leadership experience required
- At least five (5) years experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized, with excellent critical thinking and analysis abilities
