Warehouse and Logistics Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for the direct oversight of the Distribution Budget Management, Logistics Route to Market and all Regional Warehouse Execution. He/she helps formulate and execute strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. He/she will manage the movement and planning of all Finished Goods within the Logistics Network that includes Inbound Replenishment, Last Mile Delivery and Export.

• Main Roles and Activities:

• Develops, monitors and implements processes required to effectively manage company's current logistics activity and regional warehouse operations as well as plans for growth

Distribution warehouse and Route to Market strategy: reviews, optimizes distribution network for products, and support warehouse capacity alignment process

• Develop and deliver end to end Cold Chain compliance in the entire supply chain network

Negotiates strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with our vendors

• Drives and owns contract management and compliance statutes

Ensures proper safety and security of products and people in the Warehouse and Distribution chain

• Ensures systems are in place to avoid violation of local government rules and regulations at all warehouses, customer locations and during transportation

Ensures system in place for product re-call and traceability of the finished goods

• Builds a supply chain organization culture that is driven by agility, simplicity and consumer and customer focus

Management responsibilities include leading, evaluating and motivating direct reports; proposing trainings and career development plans for direct reports; defining and implementing succession plans and being responsible for adequate headcount planning of the department; ensuring suitable working conditions, health and safety precautions at work; and respecting and adhering to the internal policies, legal and other rules

• KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Extensive Logistics industry knowledge - know how of Philippines Road Network and can compute domestic freight cost

Experience:

• distribution and transportation of goods: 5 years (Preferred)

cold chain, warehousing and logistics: 5 years (Preferred)

• combined supervisory and managerial: 6 years (Preferred)
