Job Description: Restaurant Waiter- Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Waiter to join our team. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous service to restaurant guests. You will work in a fast-paced environment to take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience.
Greet and welcome restaurant guests in a friendly and professional manner.- Present menus to patrons and explain menu items, making recommendations upon request.
Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicate orders to the kitchen staff.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction with each course and replenish beverages as needed.- Clear tables and maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any complaints promptly and courteously.
Upsell additional products when appropriate.- Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies regarding reservations, payment methods, and hours of operation.
Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
