Navigating the position:
At OTG we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate
Visual Designer to bring eLearning content to life through captivating visuals. As a key contributor to our creative team, you will play a critical role in shaping the look and feel of our educational materials, ensuring they resonate with diverse audiences and meet the highest standards of design excellence.
Your responsibilities will include conceptualizing and designing a variety of visual elements, such as
graphics, illustrations, animations, and user interfaces. These assets will be crafted to not only enhance the overall learning experience but also ensure accessibility, usability, and engagement for learners. By leveraging your expertise in design principles, user-centric thinking, and storytelling, you will create content that aligns with our brand identity and supports effective knowledge retention.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts, to translate complex ideas into visually appealing and intuitive designs. Your work will directly impact the success of our courses, making them
compelling, interactive, and memorable for learners around the globe. This position offers a unique opportunity to innovate and contribute to the future of digital education in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Your Voyage Ahead:
Collaboration
- Work closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to deeply understand learning objectives and content requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and refinement of eLearning design processes to enhance efficiency and creativity.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional production team, including content developers and testers, to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Asset Creation
- Design a wide range of visual assets, including graphics, illustrations, icons, animations, and interactive elements, tailored to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain visual consistency and ensure alignment with our design system guidelines across all eLearning materials.
- Optimize visual elements for seamless performance across various devices and screen sizes.
- Integrate accessibility best practices to ensure visuals are inclusive and user-friendly for diverse audiences.
eLearning Optimization
- Stay informed on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in eLearning design and actively share insights with the OTG design organization.
- Design user-friendly and intuitive interfaces for eLearning platforms and courses, prioritizing an engaging learner experience.
- Identify design challenges and propose creative, elegant solutions, effectively communicating these ideas to the team before production.
Team Contribution
- Act as an active team player, bringing creativity, innovation, and collaboration to every project to drive the success of the entire design team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance team performance and outcomes.
Recommended to bring on board:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Visual Designer with a portfolio showcasing eLearning design expertise.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and animation tools.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, and accessibility standards.
- Bonus: Experience with eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or LMS familiarity.
- Bonus: Skills in motion graphics and video editing.
Soft Skills
