Job Summary:The Visual Content Specialist will work with the Brand Marketing Team to bring up-to-date creative ideas to life based on the campaign objectives set.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and design principles, as well as experience using photo and video editing softwares to create high-quality visual content that engages and educates our target audience.
As our Visual Content Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other creative minds to develop and execute visual content strategies that align with our branding and marketing goals. You'll play a critical role in identifying and engaging with talented content creators to ensure our visual content is of the highest quality.
- Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to create visual content that aligns with our overall marketing and branding goals.
- A deep understanding of design principles.
Coordinate with the brand team in content development- Enact the brand department's design standards and oversee each design output
Create visual guidelines, style guides, visual look of brand presentations and briefs for content creators (both internal and external)
- Manage visual content assets, including archiving and organizing digital files.
Analyze the market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape in order to generate new content ideas to drive brand awareness that would potentially lead to conversion.- Participate in the team's brainstorming sessions on seasonal stories, brand campaigns and product launches.
Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, copy, content websites, social media, and other marketing materials that are central to the consumer's perspectives
- Coordinate with the brand and marketing team regarding approval of final layouts, storyboards, and illustrations, encouraging members to provide feedback, and responding to internal commentary and requests.
Develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions with direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for concerned areas.- Continuously challenge and improve our content quality standards.
Well-versed in new social media features and platforms in the market
- Have an eye for design and can skillfully and tastefully use typography.
Ability to confidently present to both internal and external partners.
Some outputs expected would consist of: producing, developing, creating, and collaborating on making storyboards, collation of campaign pegs, visual campaign style scapes and content outputs (digital and traditional), briefing decks, and visual refinement of existing decks (ex. Brand book, Product decks, etc)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or any related field- Work experience as a Visual Content Specialist or a similar position in the Design industry is a plus
A portfolio of design content from past work experiences
- Have an eye for design and can skillfully and tastefully use typography.
Good verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suitein particular Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effects, and InDesign and video editor software such as Final Cut Pro
Not a must, but it will be a plus if you have experience in 3D Animation (Blender, Cinema 4D, or other 3D rendering software)
