We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and efficient Virtual Recruiting Assistant to join our team in the staffing and recruiting industry. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the recruitment process by providing administrative support to recruiters and sourcing candidates through various channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to recruiters by scheduling interviews, preparing necessary documents, and following up with candidates
- Source and screen potential candidates on job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels
- Work with hiring managers to create job descriptions and identify key qualifications for positions
- Conduct phone screenings with potential candidates and coordinate onsite interviews
- Manage applicant tracking system and databases to ensure all candidate information is up-to-date and accurate
- Conduct background checks and reference checks as needed
- Support new hire onboarding process, including paperwork and orientation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in staffing and recruiting or related field
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job boards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
