Cohesive is a New York-based startup that helps US companies with virtual assistant needs. We staff analysts (you!) to clients, but also build internal technology to automate manual work and improve productivity. We also pride ourselves on teamwork - even if you're staffed to a client, we help each other as a team (e.g., if there's a lot of work, I'll split up the work with you).
Job description:
As a Virtual Assistant for Cohesive, you will have two primary roles:
- You will be staffed to one or more clients, and serve as their analyst
- You will help us (Cohesive) as a VA internally, such as helping with our business development efforts
Responsibilities will vary depending on the client you are staffed with, but some example responsibilities:
- Conduct market and in-depth research on industries or companies
- List generation / research (e.g., identifying and scrubbing leads based on company and owner profiles)
- Cold calling prospective clients
- Orchestrating multichannel (email sequence and/or LinkedIn campaigns)
- Managing operational tasks, such as scheduling or managing emails
- All other ad-hoc tasks
Requirements - we do NOT care about past experience:
- Fluency or native-level English
- Proficiency in using Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, etc.) and/or Excel
- Ideally an understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts
- High-level of motivation and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace
- High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information
What the interview process will look like:
- If selected, we may potentially ask you to send a quick video clip of yourself via Loom. We may optionally also send a quick assignment that will take 5 minutes max
- If selected for an interview, you'll have a live 15 minute interview with myself (the founder), where I'll want to learn about your experiences/motivation for the role, and we'll run through some live scenarios/case studies with you to gauge your fit for the role
- We may optionally have a final round with my co-founder, where we'll similarly run through live scenarios/case studies
- Then we'll give you an offer! This total interview process can take just a few days
