Who We Are Recruiting for the Position

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Virtual Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals with at least 2+ years of experience in administrative roles, offering an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and gain valuable experience in a mission-driven environment. As a member of our volunteer-based team, you will support our daily operations, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
  • Manage team schedules, emails, and communications with precision.
  • Assist with project coordination and provide administrative support across various tasks.
  • Organize and manage digital documents, financial data, and assist in creating financial reports using Google Sheets.
  1. Content Creation & Social Media Management:
  • Support content creation through Canva, including managing a content calendar for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
  • Optimize and manage business profiles on social media platforms, implement SEO strategies, and track performance using analytics tools.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Facilitate team collaboration using platforms like Slack, Asana, and Trello.
  • Ensure smooth project execution by supporting daily operations and keeping track of deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role (Note: Applications without relevant experience will not be considered).
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually appealing and organized presentations.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. Proficient in Google Workspace, social media management, and project management platforms (Slack, Asana, Trello).
  • Tech-Savvy: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Technical Needs: Access to a reliable internet connection, a personal computer, and a quiet workspace.

  3. Written Assessment: This may include a short task or more detailed questions to evaluate your skills and suitability.
  4. Initial Interview: A 15-minute video call to discuss your experience and fit for the role.
  5. Final Interview: A 30-minute video call, potentially including a case study to showcase your expertise.
  6. Onboarding: Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive onboarding process, including signing an NDA and orientation to the role.
