Job summary: The Video Operation Supervisor oversees all aspects of video production, ensuring seamless execution from pre-production through to post-production. This role manages video operations, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and supervises video editors, camera operators, and production staff to deliver high-quality visual content that aligns with company goals.
- Supervision & Team Management:
Lead and manage a team of video production professionals including editors, camera operators, and other technical staff.
Assign tasks and ensure all deliverables are completed within set deadlines.
Provide training and feedback to team members to enhance productivity and video quality.
Oversee video shoots, ensuring proper setup of equipment such as cameras, lighting, and audio.
Ensure that video content aligns with creative direction, brand standards, and client requirements.
Act as a liaison between creative teams, marketing, and clients to ensure smooth video operations.
Manage video projects from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production, post-production, or distribution.
Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of video production equipment.
Stay up-to-date with new video production technologies and best practices.
Maintain the organization of video files, including proper naming conventions, file storage, and backups.
Review and approve final video edits to ensure they meet quality standards.
Implement quality assurance procedures to minimize production errors.
Ensure all video content is optimized for TikTok platform.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Film, Video Production, Media, or related field.
Proven experience (3-5 years) in video production, with a strong background in operations and TikTok platform.
Strong knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Technical expertise with video cameras, lighting, sound equipment, and related technologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with video content optimization for TikTok.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
