• Job Description:

As a Video Editor at Vision Media Corporation, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the final product meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

• Key Responsibilities:

Edit video content for various projects using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Lightroom.

• Collaborate with the production team to understand project scope and objectives.

Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value and contribution to continuity.

• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.

Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.

• Create rough and final cuts.

Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.

• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.

Manage and organize all video assets to ensure efficient workflow.

• Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

• Proficiency in video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Lightroom.

Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.

• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.

Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.

• Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.

Creative mind and storytelling skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field. Fresh graduates and practitioners are also welcome.

• Experience with color correction and sound design.

Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.

• Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications.
