JOB SUMMARYThe Video Editor plays a crucial role in the post-production process, transforming raw video footage into compelling, polished, and engaging visual content. You will work collaboratively with producers, directors, and other creative professionals to bring their vision to life through effective editing techniques and creative storytelling.
- SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The scope may cover any or all aspects of the content lifecycle:
- Edit raw footage into cohesive and visually appealing videos, ensuring a seamless and logical flow.
Collaborate with the production team to review and understand the project's creative vision and objectives.
- Provide input on shot selection, pacing, and overall visual style during the editing process.
Enhance video quality through color correction and grading techniques to achieve the desired look and mood.
Event Coverage:
Attend events to capture high-quality video footage, ensuring key moments and highlights are captured effectively. Work closely with the events team to understand the event objectives and capture footage accordingly.Video Editing:
Edit and assemble raw footage to create compelling and engaging event highlight videos. Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the overall video production. Ensure a consistent and cohesive visual style across all event videos.Collaboration: Collaborate with the events team, marketing, and other stakeholders to understand the messaging and branding requirements for each event. Work closely with the creative team to align video content with overall brand guidelines.
- Post-Production: Manage the entire post-production process, including color correction, audio enhancement, and finalizing videos for distribution. Ensure timely delivery of edited videos, meeting deadlines set by the events team.
Equipment Management:
Maintain and operate video recording equipment, ensuring all tools are in optimal condition. Stay updated on the latest video editing software and equipment to enhance productivity and creativity.
Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing event-related projects.- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Understanding of current video trends, storytelling techniques, and visual aesthetics.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Familiarity with event dynamics and the ability to anticipate key moments for effective video capture.
Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Formal Education or Equivalent
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in in film studies, cinematography or related field
At least 3-5 years of related work experience
14th to 15th month pay
