JOB SUMMARY:

As Video Editor, your main responsibility will be to edit podcast video clips for audio and visual channels both long and short form.

Other responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing raw footage and selecting the best clips to create short form content/assets.
- Editing selected clips by trimming, cutting, and splicing them together to create a cohesive and visually appealing video.
- Incorporating background music and sound effects to enhance the overall quality of the video.
- Colour grade and finalise audio levels on videos.
- Work closely with the team to help develop video concepts and ideas.
- Adding graphics and text to highlight important points and maintain brand consistency.
- Collaborating with team members, such as producers, writers, and graphic designers, to ensure the final video meets everyone's expectations.
- Staying up to date with the latest video editing technology and techniques.
- Ensuring all video editing projects are completed within set deadlines.
- Postproduction and preparation of files to specification
We'd love it if you ticked some of our boxes (but they're not essential to apply):
- Proven experience editing podcast and episode type content
- Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Understanding of major social media platforms, including best practices and specifications for platform-specific content. (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, GIPHY etc).
- Strong knowledge of video editing techniques and ability to implement them creatively.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction and feedback.
